Through our current work in Nigeria, we reach over 200 teenagers a year with the aim of providing vulnerable young girls with equal chances in education, in order to establish a permanent and sustainable pathway to address poverty and to avoid early pregnancy amongst them.
Our activities include: personal development workshops in major secondary schools; focus groups for facilitating discussions with local teenagers about issues that matter to them; a weekly forum for the opportunity to further learn, grow and be mentored; and training to improve their entrepreneurial skills and increase their chances in life, such as bakery, cookery, soap and bead making.
